The no drama classes I have attended with Maya gave me tools that allowed me to communicate with students in order to be able to gain their cooperation in class. When I applied some of these tools I was able to reach a certain breakthrough in my relationship with some “difficult students”. I learned to understand a student’s behavior and act accordingly by being lenient and firm at the same time. One example: I had a bossy student in my class. Confronting him was not the best option. I had to assign tasks and responsibilities to him to keep him focused and so that he can feel involved and it worked!
